We are family owned and operated, and we truly care about all of our Gold Star ATA families! Our chief instructors are Master Instructors, father and daughter duo! Our instructors are nationally certified, and challenge our students at each level. We also stress life skills such as discipline, respect, and confidence. We are the Experts in Children's Martial Arts!

Safety is our top priority! Master Cochnar Glandt has certifications in SafeSport and Traliant, keeping Gold Star at the forefront with the best in compliance training, and learning free of emotional, physical and sexual abuse and misconduct. Master Cochnar Glandt, Master Cochnar, and all of Gold Star ATA’s Nationally Certified Instructors are CPR certified, and they regularly go through background checks as well.

Yes, our Leadership students are eligible for our demonstration team, Team Velocity. These students perform at many local events, such as Seward 4th of July Celebration, Crete's Great Pumpkin Festival, Wilber Czech Festival, and more! The dynamic demonstrations are set to music, and are so fun to watch!

You will take class alongside current students, so wear something comfortable. You will learn some basic martial arts moves. When you arrive at Gold Star ATA Martial Arts, we will get you checked in, and introduce you to the instructors. Your first class will be awesome, and we'll help you to have a great first class! You'll get to break a wooden board too!

We train ages 4 & up at our Lincoln location (5 & up in Seward and Crete). We offer classes for kids, teens, and adults. Families can train together! We can individualize your family's training plan.

No hidden fees! We don't charge extra for sparring or board breaking. We are transparent about our pricing. We do not have long-term contracts.

Absolutely! We highly encourage parents to observe classes! We want you to feel connected to your child's martial arts training. We have free coffee and tea for parents!

The ATA does have a great tournament circuit! Gold Star ATA can compete locally (interschool and Lincoln regional), regionally, and nationally. ATA students of all ranks and ages can compete in ATA sanctioned tournaments.
